Sudoku King
How Sudoku King stores game progress on your device and uses Google advertising services.
In short
Sudoku King requires no account and collects no name, email, phone number or location from you. Your game progress is stored only on your device. The only category of data the app involves is advertising data processed by Google AdMob to serve ads — and in Europe that depends on your explicit consent.

Data that stays on your device
The app keeps your progress in your device's local storage. It is never sent to a server, we cannot see it, it is not backed up, and it is erased completely when you uninstall the app:
- Level scores, stars earned, completion times and mistake counts
- Board state of unfinished games
- Highest unlocked level
- Your chosen app language

The permissions in the last two rows are added to the app automatically by the Google Mobile Ads SDK; our own app code does not use them directly.
The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, location or files.
Advertising and third parties
The app is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may process the following data under its own privacy policy:

For this data, Google and ErzenApps are independent controllers: Google processes it under its own decisions to deliver and improve its products, while we are responsible as the party that decides ads are shown in our app. Google is the technical holder of this data; we have neither access to it nor the ability to delete it. Ads are served through IAB Europe’s Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF). Besides Google, the ad partners we select may also process your data, subject to your consent. You can see the full, current list of those partners under “Manage options” in the consent form shown when you first open the app, and accept or reject each partner and each processing purpose individually. You can reach the same screen at any time via Settings → Privacy & Ads → Ad Privacy Settings.
Ad content is limited to the G (General audiences) rating; gambling, alcohol and adult-content ads are not requested.
You may optionally watch an ad to earn a hint or an extra life. The game is fully playable without watching any ad. These rewards have no cash value and are not transferable.
Legal basis (EEA, Switzerland and the UK)
For users in these regions, processing of advertising data relies on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Google's certified consent form (User Messaging Platform) is shown when you first open the app, and you set your preference there.
- If you consent: ads may be personalised.
- If you give limited consent: ads are shown without personalisation.
- If you do not consent: only limited ads are shown, with no information stored on your device. These ads are based solely on the app's content, not on your advertising identifier or interests.
- If ad requests are not permitted at all: the app does not initialise advertising and no ads are shown.
We show the consent form to all our users, regardless of their region. Processing of your advertising data therefore relies on your consent outside the EEA, Switzerland and the UK as well — including in Türkiye. The Türkiye-specific notice appears in the Turkish text below.
Changing your consent at any time
Open Settings → Privacy & Ads → Ad Privacy Settings inside the app to review, change or fully withdraw your consent. (This option appears where consent is required in your region.)
You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
Your rights (EEA, Switzerland and the UK)
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- Access — to learn what data is processed about you (Art. 15)
- Rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected (Art. 16)
- Erasure — to request deletion of your data (Art. 17)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20)
- Objection — to object to processing (Art. 21)
- Withdrawal of consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal (Art. 7(3))
Your right to object to direct marketing is absolute. You may object at any time to personalised advertising and the profiling related to it; once you object, processing for that purpose stops immediately (Art. 21(2)). You can do this with one tap in the app at Settings → Privacy & Ads → Ad Privacy Settings.
About profiling: personalised advertising involves inferences about your interests. However, our app makes no decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you (Art. 22).
Right to complain: if you believe your rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country (Art. 77).
To exercise your rights, write to yigiterzenapp@gmail.com. Requests are free of charge and answered within one month. Because advertising data is held by Google, for requests concerning that data we will point you to the relevant Google channels and tell you the steps required.
Children's privacy
Sudoku King is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe your child's data has been processed, contact us at the address above and we will delete it.
US states (CCPA / CPRA and other state laws)
Residents of US states with privacy legislation — California in particular, and also Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia — may opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information for advertising.
Use Settings → Privacy & Ads → Ad Privacy Settings in the app and choose “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”. Your choice is passed to our ad partners through the IAB Global Privacy Platform (GPP) signal, and restricted data processing is applied.
You will not be treated differently or receive a degraded service for exercising this right.
Retention and deletion
Game data on your device is kept until you delete it or uninstall the app. Retention periods for advertising data are set by Google and described in the Google Privacy Policy.
There are two separate categories of data, with different deletion routes.
Game data on your device
We have no access to this data; it is entirely under your control.
- In the app: Settings → Privacy & Ads → Delete My Data. All level progress, stars and saved games are erased immediately.
- By uninstalling: all game data on your device is destroyed.
Advertising data
Your advertising identifier, IP address and ad interactions are not held by us; this data is held by Google and we cannot delete it. To delete it or break its link to you:
- Android 12 and later: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete advertising ID. Your identifier is removed entirely and apps can no longer read it.
- Older Android: Settings → Google → Ads → reset your advertising ID. This breaks the link to past data.
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off permission for the app.
- For data held by Google: manage and delete it at myadcenter.google.com or through your Google Account’s Activity Controls.
- To stop future collection: withdraw your consent in the app at Settings → Privacy & Ads → Ad Privacy Settings.

You may send erasure requests under the GDPR or KVKK to yigiterzenapp@gmail.com. We will guide you for data on your device; because advertising data is held by Google, we will direct your request to the relevant Google channel and tell you the steps required. Requests are answered within one month.
Data security
Game data on your device is protected by the operating system's app sandbox and cannot be read by other apps. All connections to the ad network use encryption (HTTPS/TLS).
International transfers
Advertising data may be processed by Google LLC on servers in various countries, including the United States. Google applies appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes we will notify you in the app and update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the app means you accept the current policy.
